The key information platform of the exhibition remains HoRex Business Forum 2026 — a practical platform bringing together representatives of the hotel and restaurant business, industry associations and experts. The forum will focus on current challenges facing the HoReCa industry in Kazakhstan: hotel revenue management, the development of gastro clusters, rising rental and tax burdens, business adaptation to legislative and environmental requirements, as well as finding solutions to maintain profitability and further develop the industry.
On 11 November, the programme will open with the plenary session “Kazakhstan’s HoReCa Industry 2026: One Market, Shared Challenges”. Participants will discuss staff shortages and professional training, legislative initiatives affecting the operations of hotels and catering establishments, as well as prospects for the development of gastro clusters.
The practical session “Gastro Cluster: A New Format or a Closed Club? How Can Restaurants Become Part of the Project?” will focus on the criteria for selecting establishments, participation requirements for gastro clusters, investment costs and payback periods. In turn, the strategic session “Kazakhstan’s Hotel Business 2026: Who Manages Your Revenue — You or Aggregators?” will address cost management, maintaining service standards, developing direct sales and reducing dependence on international booking platforms.
On 12 November, participants will examine rental costs for catering establishments, the availability of commercial premises and possible business support measures during the strategic session “Under Rental Pressure: Why Are Premises for Catering Businesses Becoming More Expensive?”. The strategic session “How Can the Restaurant Business Survive and Maintain Its Margins Amid Reforms?” will focus on changes to the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the application of the retail tax regime, automation of management and tax accounting, as well as business protection during inspections and monitoring. The practical session “Josper, Grill and Grease Trap: How Much Will the New Environmental Regulation Cost Restaurants?” will cover requirements for emission filtration, the installation and maintenance of grease traps, the cost of relevant equipment and available financial support measures. The programme will conclude with the FORESIGHT session “From Insights to Action: HoReCa After the Forum”, aimed at further developing the outcomes of industry discussions.
Alongside HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan, the international exhibitions FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2026 and QazPack 2026, dedicated to the food industry and packaging technologies, will also take place. The joint staging of these events will broaden the professional agenda and allow visitors to explore solutions from related industries within a single visit: from equipping hotels, restaurants and retail businesses to food production and packaging. Combined, the exhibitions will occupy 5 pavilions with a total area of 16,400 sq. m and bring together 635 exhibitors from 35 countries. The scale of the combined venue will create additional opportunities for business networking, meeting new suppliers and exploring current offerings across various market segments.
Behind the seamless operation of a hotel, restaurant or cleaning service lies an entire system of solutions that guests may not notice, but which ultimately shape the quality of service. HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan 2026 highlight this side of the industry — from professional equipment and technological solutions to the organisation of daily processes that determine business efficiency and service standards. The three days of the exhibitions will provide an opportunity to see how the infrastructure of hospitality and professional services is changing, compare the offerings of manufacturers and suppliers, and find solutions that meet the needs of specific businesses.
The exhibitions are organised by Kazakhstan Exhibition Company Iteca and its international partner, ICA Events Group.
