HOREX QAZAQSTAN AND CLEAN EXPO QAZAQSTAN 2024 HAVE BECOME A KEY SITE FOR INNOVATION, SUCCESSFUL DEALS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE HORECA AND CLEANING SEGMENTS

FROM NOVEMBER 13 TO 15, 2024, THE INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITIONS - HOREX QAZAQSTAN AND CLEANEXPO QAZAQSTAN 2024 WERE SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN ALMATY, IN THE ATAKENT KCBC EXHIBITION CENTER.

Over the three exhibition days, 7,361 industry professionals became unique visitors (the data includes visitors to all sites within the FoodExpo Qazaqstan and QazPack exposition), who were able to get acquainted with innovative solutions and conclude important business contracts. Visitors noted the significance of the event, emphasizing its dynamic development and the diversity of the solutions presented: “I have been visiting this exhibition for the fourth year in a row, and each time it pleases with its diversity. Here you can find companies of both technical and manufacturing directions - the range changes every year, and this is really interesting”, Anna Pshenichnaya, Category Purchasing Manager, Magnum Cash&Carry, shared her opinion.

Expo-events once again proved their significance, attracting professionals of the hospitality and cleaning industry from all over the world. The events brought together over 35 companies from 14 countries, including Belarus, Iran, Italy, Spain, Germany, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Japan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia and the USA. The exhibition stands demonstrated a wide range of solutions for the restaurant and hotel business, including food, beverages, professional equipment, tableware, inventory, household chemicals and consumables. Among the exhibitors were such well-known companies as Ria Vendors Vostok, Torgmash, TechnoVipes, Trade Design, NBK Trade, BWT Waters, Thermoplan Asia, ECOBER, Man Trade, Kromsan, ArbuzFood Service, Gourmet, Hotel Market, NVK Almaty, Sandalyeci, Karcher, Cleanetica and many others. The participants of the exhibition highly appreciated its organization and business activity, noting the opportunity to establish useful contacts and interest new customers: “The exhibition is bright, there are many visitors, the organization is at a high level. Interest in our products was shown, since we have more than 12 thousand names of goods, and almost every visitor finds something for themselves. We have concluded more than 10 partnership agreements and will invite new partners to our office”, Nizhat Abilov, Commercial Director of TORGSTORE, said.

26 companies specialized in solutions for the HoReCa segment, and 9 represented the professional cleaning industry. In total, 16 Kazakhstan and 19 international manufacturers took part. For the first time, 14 companies, including: Lead Partners, Tairiku Moscow LTD, WMF Kazakhstan, Dewell, Kuznya Tavern, Dreven Workshop, Bavand Co Chemicals, Electrolux Professional, Josper, Cambro, Jacobs, Zeta, Ernaz Uniforma, Hayat, UNIT, Joylife Industry and others, presented their products, which emphasizes the growing authority and demand for the event.

The business program of the exhibition in the format of Horex Business Forum celebrated its 10th anniversary and was the most eventful site within the exposition, with headliners and useful information. The most important aspects of the industry, such as HR management, marketing, sustainable business development and the use of innovative technologies, were revealed by 32 expert speakers in 6 key blocks, covering more than 18 relevant topics. The first day of the forum, November 13, opened with sessions dedicated to HR management and service quality. Participants learned how to attract and retain employees in the HoReCa sector, which is critical to maintaining a high level of service. Speakers shared successful cases on forming a strong team, implementing motivation programs and creating a comfortable working environment. Then attention was focused on the topic of risk management in accounting and compliance with legislation. The experts discussed how to minimize tax risks, prevent errors in financial accounting and organize effective planning, which is especially important for the restaurant and hotel business, where every detail matters. In conclusion, at the session “Marketing and AI: New opportunities for restaurant success. Franchise - successful experience”, the speakers discussed innovative approaches to marketing, including the use of artificial intelligence to analyze customer data and automate processes.

The second day of the forum, November 14, became a day of innovations and new opportunities for growth. At the session “Eco as a driver of responsibility and business model: sustainable solutions in the restaurant business”, speakers shared their experience in implementing the “Green Restaurant” model, focusing on the monetization of eco-projects and gamification, and also presented global trends in eco-design for HoReCa, noting the importance of sustainable solutions. Particular attention was drawn to the session “ABR Talks”, where operational management of restaurants, foodtech and their impact on economic indicators were discussed. Speakers talked about creating unique restaurant concepts that stand out in the market, and presented examples of successful franchises showing how important it is to introduce innovations into everyday practice.

On the final day of the forum, November 15, a Public-Talk session was held, which was dedicated to the role of bloggers, restaurant critics and photographers in creating the image of establishments. Speakers discussed how working with opinion leaders, competent management of reputation and the use of visual tools help restaurants attract new guests and strengthen customer trust. Trends in restaurant reviews were presented and methods of promotion through a personal brand were revealed. Each of these sessions brought together a wide audience interested in modern approaches to management and promotion in the restaurant industry.

No less eventful was the Interactive Zone of CleanExpo Qazaqstan, where master classes and demonstrations were held throughout the exhibition. Participants learned about modern methods of stainless steel care, dry cleaning of textiles and carpets, processing of leather goods and the basics of washing. Also in the zone, special attention was paid to issues of hygienic safety, which is especially important for the HoReCa segment.

The events once again emphasized their significance for the industry, providing participants and guests with unique opportunities for business communication, discussing new trends, strengthening partnership relations and concluding contracts. This was also noted by visitors to the exhibition: “We managed to hold several successful meetings, and I can already see specific results - there are definitely prospects for partnerships and cooperation. I will be glad to visit the exhibition next year, perhaps even as a participant”, Artem Barsukov, Regional Representative, Finist, said.
